Definitely not aimed at everyday women and certainly anyone who wishes to buy them should have a few grand in the bank account available. The reason for the Christmas lingerie capsule of the demi-couture company Bordelle specially designed for Selfridges.
Three different designs with three numbered pieces each (total nine underwear) launched this week at the famous department store. The value of each exceeds three and a half thousand eurosand now unfairly. The lingerie are made from luxurious fabrics decorated with Swarovski crystals and gold filigree, and each of them had 7-10 days working to build by hand.
“The brand has been going for five years now, and we really wanted to create something really decadent this Christmas,” Bordelle founder and designer Alex Popa told us. “Each piece is handmade and numbered one, two or three of three. The pieces use gold filigree, Swarovski crystals, the most luxurious fabrics – and each one takes seven to ten days to make. Completely made to order, it’s our most couture collection yet.“
