Trend Report: Chanel makes a Sneaker Revolution

Untitled #966
The sporty surprise on the catwalks of haute couture.
Fashion has acquired a strong love lately with sneakers. In every street style photography there is at least one pair of Nike Air Max, or Adidas Stan Smith.
This trend seems to be jumped from the street to couture catwalks for Spring / Summer 2014! Raf Simons for the house of Dior, but also Karl Lagerfeld for  Chanel, transposed the street trend and combined it with dresses and haute couture.

Initially it was the sports shirt sweatshirt following the baseball type of hat, and now sports shoes or sneakers enter so dynamically in our daily outfits even outside the gym. A few years ago, sports shoes were only for the gym and none of us dare to wear them outside, beyond those that had generally choose a sport look.

You don’t have to spend a fortune on a Chanel pair of sneakers of course. The legendary Parisian house showed the way, it’t in your hand to adapt the more affordable labels will help you, I recommend Nike and new Balance.
With this recent notability with sneakers these days, companies like Nike and New Balance in their effort to please the general public have grown the range of designs and colors. Nike sports shoes are timeless choice, and with such a variety of colors can undoubtedly satisfy all tastes.

Naomi Campbell Reacts to Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Vogue Cover

Untitled #963
Naomi Campbell was invited to a morning show in Australia and when she was asked to comment on the cover of Vogue of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West hwe reaction was priceless.
Campbell initially replied: “I do not want to comment.”
and immediately breaks into laughter! Even when the reporter asked why she doesn’t want to comment on the fact she replied:
“Because I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years.
“And when you get a Vogue cover it’s a build in your career… it’s a stepping stone to achieve that. And I’m a fashion model, so what more can I say?
The presenters then asked Campbell whether she was suggesting that Kardashian and West had not earned the right to feature on the cover of the publication, which is edited by Anna Wintour.

“Those are your words,” Campbell replied. “I’m being politically correct. That’s Anna Wintour’s choice to put them on the cover of her magazine. Who’s to question it?”

Beyoncé vs January Jones! And Topshop in between. Who wore it better?

Untitled #962
First we saw it on Beyonce in a few days later in the heroine of the television series, Mad Men, January Jones. The striped coctail dress which we spotted on both stars, combines all the features that make the perfect dress – one of the timeless prints like stripes, length and line that flatters many body types, proof that fits equally well in curvilinear, Beyonce and less juicy, January Jones.
The only difference between the two appearances lies in the shoes in which he chose to accompany it as one chose a pair of high heels and the other wanted to add a more classic touch, wearing pointy black pumps.
Beyoncé wore it first, back on March 7, for a night out at the Arts Club in Mayfair.
Unwinding after one of her many London mega concerts, Beyoncé stepped out in the sateen shift dress paired with black stilettoes.
January Jones chose the Topshop dress for the 2nd annual Rebel with a Cause cancer research gala in LA last week. The X-Men actress paired the dress with black sandals and a mirrored clutch, both by Jimmy Choo.
It looks like Topshop is fast becoming the go-to choice for some of our fave A-list celebrities.
