Beauty Report: MAC x Marge The Simpsons Collection for Fall 2014.

This year marks 25 years since the Simpsons screened for the first time on American television. MAC celebrates with a subversive makeup collection, the beauty addicts will love. Source of inspiration of the brand was the figure of Marge Simpson, with the characteristic blue hair and the big eyes.
The collection includes shadows, lip gloss, blush, false eyelashes and nail stickers. The form of the famous cartoon reflected naturally in specific product packaging. The collection is expected in stores in early September.
 Marge “says” in a release, “They’re all so great, but I must say that Lisa’s Spikes really works well with my skin tone and of course, Beehive Blue complements my hair perfectly.” Fans will be able to purchase the collection, but will also be entitled to a Marge Simpson-style makeover from the 10-piece collection, which includes nail stickers ($16.50), eye shadows ($44), lip-glosses ($16.50) and lashes ($18.50).

Lupita Nyong’o may be  in our lives just for one year, but has managed to make her presence more than felt. An Oscar, a campaign for Miu Miu and many magazine covers have made her the ultimate face for discussion. Today, the 31-year-old star posing for the brand new campaign Lancôme  Teint Idole Ultra 24H  she looks more glamorous and beautiful than ever.
“I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself,” Nyong’o said.
Lupita is the first black woman to represent brand, which in the past was represented by Emma Watson, Julia Roberts and Penelope Cruz.

Kate Moss has been linked with the brand, as she has been repeatedly photographed wearing the famous trench coat while Cara Delevingne is already one of the faces of the collection Burberry Beauty. 

Beauty Report: MAC Mineralize Glass Spring 2014 Cosmetic Collection

The new MAC Mineralize Glass Collection featured a new shade of gloss (Mineralize Glass) in twelve shades, plus six new shades of Mineralize Rich Lipstick. All eighteen shades will be joining the permanent line-up. The new gloss is less tacky than traditional Lipgloss, but thinner and stickier than Cremesheen Glass or Lustreglass. The color coverage is a little more than Cremesheen Glass, but the new gloss is semi-sheer in most cases and wears an average of three hours a pop. They’re lightly hydrating, smell of vanilla, and contain more product than most of MAC’s lipglosses. Some shades settled into lip lines or did not apply evenly, so those things really hurt the ratings. The Mineralize Rich Lipsticks were better, in general, and are a more buildable and pigmented formula with a luminous sheen and feel hydrating when worn.
