Marge “says” in a release, “They’re all so great, but I must say that Lisa’s Spikes really works well with my skin tone and of course, Beehive Blue complements my hair perfectly.” Fans will be able to purchase the collection, but will also be entitled to a Marge Simpson-style makeover from the 10-piece collection, which includes nail stickers ($16.50), eye shadows ($44), lip-glosses ($16.50) and lashes ($18.50).
Chanel Le Vernis is 5-Free (free of DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor). The signature square glass bottles are topped with a black square outer cap that is removed to reveal a stubby, round, ribbed inner cap. The brush is round, medium in length and width and reminds me of the old OPI brushes. It easily fans out and covers the nail without much resistance.
The consistency of the polishes in this collection is thin and pliable but packed with pigment, with the white being the one exception. The rest are all two coat confections that dry nice and glossy. Whites are notoriously difficult and Eastern Light certainly continues the tradition. It’s streaky and not the best at self leveling. I needed three coats and still wasn’t happy with the finish.
These are all listed as limited-edition on Chanel.com except for Tutti Frutti.
“I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman’s freedom to be herself,” Nyong’o said.
When we talk about summer the first thing you think is the perfect tanned skin. And that for some of us means that we put again in our beauty case our favourite bronzer in order to have darker skin which may seem slightly tanned.
“Fake it ‘til you make it” might not be the best career advice, but it does happen to be our philosophy on tanning. Give a sexy, sun-kissed look to your skinf and create the right cutouts in your makeup properly using … miraculous bronzer!

6. Bobbi Brown Bronzer €31
The first thing to do is find the right shade for your own skin. The bronzer aims to subtly darken the skin rather than completely changing the tone. In general it should only be two shades darker than your natural skin tone. Try to spread it out to clean skin to make sure that “warms” the tone of your skin, without making look fake.
Choose two different bronzers. One for summer when you are already tanned, and one for the winter when your skin is whiter! So the result will look consistent and not at all fake. Use more intense colors bronzer only to points the sun ‘hits‘, ie nose, forehead, cheekbones and chin. But beware, you must very gentle touches on in order to have as much as possible natural results.
Supply with a special brush for bronzer. Choose a large, fluffy brush like the one for powder with a rounded top. If your brush is too small and hard, then it is likely to leave brown spots. There are specialized specifically for bronzer brushes available in the market, although a big like the onre for the blush can work equally well.
Apply the foundation. To bronzer added immediately after your concealer. Spread evenly the bronzer with a brush. It is best to apply the bronzer when you have plenty of light, if you drop more quantity, “save” the situation by applying a little powder and working your makeup with a thick brush, so as to create a uniform result.
The bronzer inside should not have shimmer. What we want to achieve is to give color and sometimes shine, so find a bronzer that gives a natural glow or be completely neat, with nothing inside. In no case, however, we have shimmer because what it does is shine too much and it is not natural.
Light makeup is important for a tan summer look, Use natural colors in eyeshadows, blush and lipstick. Avoid very bright colors because the result will be ugly.
After completing the makeup use the thick brush to apply it to the entire face. Shook the brush and spread to your neck, face while putting more emphasis on the center of the forehead, nose, under the eyes, apples and chin to highlight these points and create a matte finish with extra duration.
